Ero a Osaka, forse l'entusiasmo di Renée e Andrew era tanto, ma io non ho mai rischiato di vincere il campionato del mondo ne di fare un record italiano vecchio di più di 20 anni, magari reagirei così.
Qualcosa ho notato che forse in televisione non si è visto, come prima e dopo ogni salto Andrew cercasse Renée, non aveva occhi se non per lei.
Vi sembra poco? Ho trovato straordinario, si fida completamente e dopo i risultati, anche i più scettici e ipercritici credo debbano arrendersi e convincersi che Renée è brava.
Avevo chiacchierato molto prima della gara con Giomi, che sosteneva che un grosso vantaggio della collaborazione madre-figlio consisteva nel fatto che, da subito, Renée gli trasmetteva abitudini e capoccia internazionali, gli aveva insegnato a guardare oltre, lontano anzichè nel cortile di casa.
Come non essere d'accordo!
Renée aveva sognato qualche giorno prima la gara, risultato compreso, sta tutto scritto nella sua agenda, e con provata testimonianza.
Non ci sono parole.
Piuttosto se devo fare un unico appunto sulle reazioni di Andrew, devo ammettere che è talmente carino quando non sbraita che è un vero peccato che giri il mondo l'immagine di una smorfia che non gli rende giustizia.
Alla prossima gara sorridi perchè ne vale la pena...
